Susan Colleen Browne is the author of the forthcoming memoir, "A Year in the Foothills: A Boomer Couple's Search for the Slow Life" (Whitethorn Press, Summer 2008).

"A Year in the Foothills" is a lighthearted story about pursuing your dreams at midlife…even when the odds are against you. To read an excerpt, click here.

A creative writing instructor at Whatcom Community College, Susan has also penned several novels, drawing on her Irish heritage to create fun women's stories set in Ireland. She invites you to take a look at two of her novels, It Only Takes Once and Baby Love.

Drop by Susan's new blog... "Eat, Pray…and Think Slow: In Praise of Life in the Slow Lane." After posting about Irish topics the last few months, Susan chats about how "Slow is the New Fast," and ways to slow down and simplify your life.
