Whatcom Community College Instructor Bio A professional writer since 1995, Susan Colleen Browne has been a WCC creative writing instructor for 7 years. Susan presents a variety of writing and creativity programs at many regional conferences and events, including the Pacific Northwest Writer's Association Conference (www.pnwa.org), the Emerald City Writer's Conference (www.gsrwa.org), the "Write on the Beach" conference in Ocean Shores, and Western Washington University's Woodring College Extension Program. Her publishing credits include Succeed magazine, The Seattle Times, and Women as Managers. As a book columnist for The Bellingham Business Journal, she has interviewed authors like Redbook columnist and personal coach Laura Berman Fortgang, best-selling spiritual writer Marsha Sinetar, and Mark Bryan, co-founder of "The Artist's Way" workshops. Susan
was nominated as a Western Washington University Writing Fellow,
1992, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Huxley College,
